Launch of Madaster Norway Pioneer Programme
On 23 September last, the Madaster Norway Pioneer Programme was launched at Ratio Architects in Oslo. Madaster was there, as well as representatives of the new partners Statsbygg, Entra, COWI and Ratio Architects. The representatives each gave a short speech on why they have committed to working with Madaster.
‘The pioneer programme is exciting and groundbreaking. We are happy to participate and see this as a networking arena for circular construction.’ – Solveig Dahl Grue, Managing Director of Ratio Architects
Several other architects, engineers, consultants and building owners joined the event to learn more about Madaster’s functionalities. They were triggered by the possibilities offered by Madaster to participants to generate material passports, support circular construction and simplifying the reuse of building materials.
The event included presentations by the founders of Madaster — Thomas Rau, architect, and Pablo van den Bosch, board member Madaster. Anstein Skinnarland, CTO of Madaster Norway, presented a roadmap for the Pioneer programme, and Frank Jaegtnes, head of Digitalization Council and director of EFO, explained how they work with digitisation, circularity and including Madaster. Ellen Høvik, Head of Communication at Madaster Norway, spoke about climate regulation and presided the debate on the importance of digitisation to achieve a more circular building sector. There was a lot of enthusiasm and commitment amongst the participants with regards to a more circular construction sector. In the coming months, Madaster Norway will be working on initiating projects.
