A culture of circularity at Madaster Norway’s Pioneer event

News 27 jan 2023
Inspiration from across the country and abroad set the tone for Madaster Norway’s Pioneer event on the 25th of January. From the stage at the BREEAM-certified cultural centre of Vega Scene in Oslo, Marie Drange, Managing Director Madaster Norway, welcomed the pioneers and invited them to share best practices on how to achieve circular construction with Madaster.
Gunnar Irby from OBOS Eiendom emphasised how insight about circular KPIs, such as detachability, is the main driver for registering the Oslo-based project Construction City in the Madaster Platform. Presentations including Angvik Eiendom’s bold targets for a circular asset management in the city of Molde, insight from a pilot with Sweco and Entra, using the Madaster requirements, and Cowi’s implementation approach to using Madaster led to fruitful discussions during the breaks. Patrick Bergmann, Managing Director Madaster Germany, shared experiences from its powerful circular network, before Anstein Skinnarland, CTO of Madaster Norway, continued with the latest developments on the platform and the roadmap for 2023, receiving great appreciation from the audience.
