HONESTY ABOUT MATERIALS
In this way, people all have their own reasons for not participating in the creation of material passports. To them, I would like to say this:
Material information will not pollute the data, because you are embracing the ILS.
People may wonder why they would need to enter material information in —often difficult to manage— libraries if it is ‘only’ about an isolated case or particular type of property?
Would that not make the cure worse than the disease? In the most negative case, it would be a single Pset.
I think that it is irrelevant whether you believe in it or not, it is simply part of the work you are commissioned to do for your client. And the argument that it would be too much work seems to represent a curious standpoint, if processing the ILS is your job, after all.
DESIRING SUSTAINABILITY
More important than the number of mattresses and their dimensions, is what you could do with them, once you have found the princess. And to know this, you will have to register the material information. Therefore, the material passport should not only resonate the desire for sustainability, it should make the dream come true!
Bewirtschaftung und Rückbau. Gemeinsam wurden die Bedürfnisse im Markt identifiziert, um den Ansatz und die Struktur der Online-Bibliothek in der Schweiz zu definieren. Mit den ersten Datenpartnern CRB und buildup erfolgte die Vernetzung mit Partnern im Bereich Material, Produkt und Klassifizierung.
Die grösste Herausforderung auf dem Weg bis zum Go Live der Schweizer Madaster Plattform war der Aufbau einer soliden Vertrauensbasis. Denn mit Kreislaufwirtschaft begeben wir uns auf einen Weg der Transformation, dessen Ziel wir anfangs nur visionär beschreiben können. Als die anfängliche Begeisterung für das Thema dann in konkretes Tun, die Registrierung von Gebäude mündete, war der wichtigste Schritt gemacht. Gut, konnten wir dabei auf die tatkräftige Unterstützung des Madaster-Teams in den Niederlanden zählen und von den mehrjährigen Erfahrungen dort lernen.
Das Umdenken in der Branche ist in vollem Gange, das Tun hat begonnen. Wir freuen uns auf weitere Unternehmer, die ihre Kunden bei der Realisierung von zirkulären Geschäftsmodellen und der Implementierung von Materialpässen in Bauprojekten unterstützen oder ihre (Software-)Lösung als Add-on zur Madaster-Plattform ihren bestehenden oder potenziellen Kunden anbieten.
